Zero Storage Architecture & Technical Proxy

StorySave operates strictly as a client-side technical proxy. We do not host, store, cache, or replicate any media files (videos, photos, audio, or stories) on our servers.

All media files stream directly from Instagram's public Content Delivery Network (CDN) servers to your browser in real-time. Because no files are stored on our infrastructure, we cannot delete content from Instagram itself. However, we respect creator rights and can permanently block specific URLs from being processed through our system.

Personal Media Backup & Fair Use

StorySave is intended solely for personal, non-commercial media backup and fair-use archiving. Users are responsible for ensuring they have legitimate authorization from the content owner before downloading or repurposing any media.

StorySave does not encourage or facilitate copyright infringement and disclaims liability for unauthorized commercial distribution by users.

Submitting a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner or an authorized representative wishing to restrict specific Instagram links from being processed by StorySave, please submit a written DMCA notice containing:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
  • The exact Instagram URL(s) you wish to block on our platform.
  • Your full legal name, organization, phone number, and physical/email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in your notification is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
  • An electronic or physical signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
