Frequently Asked Questions
Can I download Instagram videos on iPhone or Android?
Yes. StorySave works directly in mobile browsers like Safari, Chrome, and Samsung Internet. On iPhone, files save via Safari Downloads to the Files app; on Android, files download straight to your Downloads folder.
Do I need to log in with my Instagram account?
No. You never need to enter your Instagram password or connect your personal account to download public content.
Can I download videos in original HD quality?
Yes. StorySave extracts the original MP4 video stream provided by Instagram's CDN, ensuring you receive the highest resolution and bitrate available.
Can I save all photos from a multi-image carousel post?
Yes. Our Photo Downloader lets you save carousel photos individually or bundle up to 20 images into a single ZIP archive.
Why is my Instagram link failing to download?
Verify that the post is still live and publicly accessible. Private posts, deleted media, or temporary rate limits can prevent media extraction.
Where are downloaded files saved?
Check your browser's default download history. On mobile devices, look inside the Files app (iOS) or the Downloads folder (Android).
Can I download content from a private Instagram account?
Public download tools cannot access private profiles. For content you can already view with your personal account, use our Private Downloader workflow.
